Clearing up the vicious rumors currently circling her, Pamela Anderson’s rep released a detailed statement on Wednesday, March 18, addressing the claims of her ex Rick Salomon.
“Ms. Anderson filed for divorce from Rick Solomon (sic) on Feb. 11, 2015,” the statement began. “A judge granted Ms. Anderson a restraining for good reason, to protect her safety. Mr. Solomon (sic) has been avoiding being served. His claims about Ms. Anderson are ridiculous and do not dignify a response. She is moving on with her life and spending quality time with her family.”
The former Baywatch star, 47, is in the middle of her third divorce from Salomon, 47, who made some extreme claims in court documents that Anderson is a “serial baby killer” — having supposedly had numerous abortions throughout their marriage and during other relationships, including her seven-month marriage to Kid Rock.
Anderson’s rep also used the the opportunity to clarify Anderson’s relationship with the late Simpsons creator Sam Simon. Simon passed away earlier this month after a long battle with cancer.
There have been reports of expensive gifts Simon gave Anderson prior to his passing and details about his funeral saying she didn’t attend.
“This is a sad time her,” the statement continued. “Sam Simon and Ms. Anderson were extremely close. He adored her. She spoke lovingly at his funeral alongside Jennifer Tilly and Sam’s girlfriend Kate. Their affections are personal.”
Both Simon and Anderson were passionate animal lovers, and the People Garden actress still works with PETA.
